Short Trip to Agra

In a short trip to Agra you can visit Taj Mahal, Agra Fort & Fatehpur Sikri in one day.

You can come to agra by Air-conditioned super fast train or luxury private car.

If  budget is not a problem ,you can take a private car from Delhi ,so you can be  free from time boundations and waiting on railway stations. It is possible to hire a car with a driver for full day(a big car for five persons will costs about 7-12 INR/Km).

Are you coming for a short trip to Agra by Train?.....                                      I suggest you to use Shatabdi Express   (It is fast and gives you more time in Agra).

Leave your hotel early morning & make    it to the New Delhi Railway station. You will depart station by 06.15am. You will   be served  breakfast and mineral water bottle at your place in train. Train scheduled to Arrive at Agra at 0800hrs.

You can book this short trip to Agra tour from any operator in Delhi or you can do it  yourself.

At Agra Cantt. station ,at platform 1    you can book a Agra city sightseeing tour. Trains from Rajasthan pull in at the Agra Fort Station.

Morning hours sightseeing tour of the city includes Taj mahal and Red Fort.

After seeing Taj and Red Fort you can have lunch in any 4-5 star hotel and then proceed to fatehpur sikri which is about  35 Kms.

After returning from Fatehpur Sikri, prior to your train departure from Agra, it is    your opportunity to enjoy a last - minute shopping for gifts and reminder  of your short Agra visit.

Shatabdi express leaves Agra Cantt station to delhi at 8.30pm (dinner is included    in the fare).

Although i still say, the Taj alone deserves so much more - a short trip to Agra  would  miss the different moods of Taj, as the light changes from sunrise to sunset.

In my opinion a 2-3 day visit to Agra is a must.
